Q: During an online sermon last night, I heard the preacher say "there will be a time when God tells us to stop praying for people". I am confused. In my studies of prayer, I know there should be no substitute prayer in our lives-unless it comes to obedience or substituting prayer for action if God wants us to go forth in belief of His word, (showing faith), or trying to pray when we need to repent of our own misdeed, or have something against a brother or sister and need to reconcile first (this last one I see in great error in the Body of Christ). I do not see scripture telling us that one day God will have us stop praying for the lost. Could you please reference me to the New Testament verses that point to this? Thank you.

A: Thank you for watching last night’s video. The first thing I would like for you to do is refer to our doctrine statement and notice that we are confidently Post Tribulation Rapture. Here are the three Bible references and explanation that leads me to believe there will come a day when God asks his people to stop praying for the Nation, and individuals that have been given over.

1. The actual reference I mentioned in the sermon was what happened in Jeremiah 7:16 and 14:11, Israel had become so wicked that God instructed Jeremiah to “pray not thou for this people” and then he goes on to say “For I will not hear thee”.

2. You mentioned that you only wanted to hear from the New Testament I believe you are only getting half of God’s council by doing that but there is Jude 13. “wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever”. No matter how much you pray for one of these wandering stars they do not have the ability to turn around and come to the Lord.

3. Finally, when someone has accepted the mark of the beast the possibility of Repentance becomes Zero. Praying for someone in this condition would be against the will of God. There is no turning back and no possibility of hope for that person.

I look to the instructions of Jesus in John 17:9. “I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.”. I pray for them that are lost. I pray for their salvation, that they like me may come to know the redeeming power of Jesus. However, when someone openly and flatly rejects him, I feel that they have also openly and flatly rejected me and my prayers and I move on to the next person in my prayer list. The reference I mentioned last night however was about no longer praying for a nation. Our government has allowed more abortions that the total population of Canada, removed prayer from schools, chosen to not allow praying in Jesus’ name at government functions and has sold its people up a river in the name of globalism just to name a few of her Sins. How much longer do you feel we pray for God to Bless America?

Q: There seems to be a controversy between some churches about the subject of predestination. Could you explain your point of view on this? n Revelations 13:8 it says that "and all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (the antichrist) whose names are not written in the book of life of the lamb slain from the foundation of the world" This would seem to say that God knew who would be saved and had our names written in the book of life before He even created the world. Thoughts?

A: Calvinist and others teach predestination, but in order to avoid a time consuming theological
discourse, I will to keep my answer as simple, and clear as possible. You gave Revelation 13:8 which is a good verse to look at. Anyone who is not born again will NOT be found in the Lambs Book of Life, but will be damned to an eternity in hell. Before the foundation of the world God had a plan and predestined all who would live for Him would be saved. He created
Abraham's bosom for His servants under the Old Testament covenant. Those followers of God were kept there as Jesus had not yet heralded in the new covenant where He would die for the sins of all mankind and deliver those under the old covenant. Again, God Himself predestined before the foundation of the world the plan to save, heal, and forgive all who would come to His Son for salvation. If everyone was predestined to be saved or lost there would be no need to preach or witness, as everything would be cut and dried before hand thus leaving one very important thing out; ones own will. God certainly knows all things, but does not take away our right to make choices. I believe the doctrines of men have misinterpreted the Word of God and caused much confusion among many believers today. Weather predestined or not The Lord says to choose you this day whom you will serve, and that is an act of ones will. Whosoever will; LET HIM COME! (1Timothy 4:16)

Q: Is it really something to be shameful about when asking for help? If you're starving, going through some things and just don't have the means for food, gas, etc until your next payment arrives is it really a shameful thing to reach out hoping someone might have the capability to help?

A: Thanks for your question .No, it is not wrong or shameful for someone to ask for help. At some point and time all of us have had a hand up given us. Jesus himself has told us to ask, seek, and knock. Usually in the ministry there are many needs that come up and sometimes the church is able to help and sometimes not; according to the financial condition of the body and size of the church. What I have found however, is that there are those who feel the church should know whenever they have a need or need some help. The church does not have a way to know that there are needs and if no one bothers to make the church aware, nothing can or will be done, and that upsets some people as they apparently feel the church knows everything.
So, If you have a need ASK, AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN. Gods people, for the most part, are giving and loving people who have been blessed by God, and have no issue helping others.

Q: Would you be a sinner if you had one drink, as long as you’re not getting drunk, would that be a sin?

A: The short answer to your question would be no. However, I believe there are a few things one should consider before one indulges in those activities that maybe permissible. In 1 Corinthians 6:12 Paul writes, “All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.” In essence what Paul was stating is that yes, there are things in this life that are not necessarily sin, but what is the point of the activity? Does the activity build up our spiritual man, or does it hold it back, or lead or bring our spiritual man down? I think this question is easily answered by Paul’s last statement in this verse, I will not be brought under the power of any!

When we look at various things in the world, and perhaps in our own lives, what is the outcome of such activities? When I look at alcohol, yes many may argue that not all those who drink have issues with it. However, as I sit here writing this piece, I have a hard time thinking of anyone who’s life alcohol benefited instead of destroyed. And Paul’s last statement rings in my ears, I will not be brought under the power of any. As a good friend once told me, in reciting a story concerning drugs, you can never miss what you’ve never had. Essentially, you can never become bound by something if you never start.

One other thing I would like to point out. A couple chapters later in 1 Corinthians 10:23-24 Paul reiterates this passage again, “All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.” If you continue reading down through this passage, you will find that what Paul is stating is that our lives are not our own. As Christians we are to be a light to this world, in all that we say and do that others may see the light of Christ in us and come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. (1 Cor 6:19-20; 1 Cor 10:33) So, as Christians we have to understand, that our actions do not merely reflect ourselves, but Christ and therewith a generation who desperately needs Him. So, I end with Paul’s words, “All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient, all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.” So, I suppose the real question is, what do you desire your witness to declare?

Q: I'm really just tired of everything. I just want to give up. I don't want to do harm to myself, but my goodness I sure am deeply depressed and about ready to stop doing anything all together. I just want to wither away into nothingness. Not to be remembered, never to be known.

A: There is a lack of understanding of the damage done by negative speaking. My advice is this, when you want to give up, get up. Stop feeling like you have somehow been victimized, and quit feeling sorry for yourself. Job suffered tremendously at a period in his life. His donkeys and oxen were taken by the Sabeans, and they killed his servants caring for them. Fire fell from Heaven killing his flocks of sheep and the servants caring for them. The Chaldeans killed Jobs camels and those servants caring from them also. And finally, a great wind hit the house where his children were gathered killing all the young men. Job went into mourning, and fell upon the ground and worshipped. In all this Job sinned not with his lips. Later he was stricken with boils from head to toe. Even having his wife telling him to curse God and die.

Compare this to the writers comment above. Do you see the difference? Can you see where the words of total defeat are spoken again and again? Satan tried everything he could to get Job to deny God, and to curse God, but Job overcome amidst horrible circumstances. My friend, you have not ever come close to what Job suffered, and you want to quit? You want to give up? Ask God for forgiveness for what you have let spill from your lips and get some fight in you. Quit listening to the devil, and resist the demonic thoughts you are feeding on and begin resisting the devil (James 4:7). There are no victories without battles, so pick up the shield of faith and fight. (Ephesians 6: 10-17)

Q: A question to the other question in regards to tithing. What if I make little income, and literally just enough to get by. After bills, groceries, and what not are taken and I have little to nothing left what can I give? If not money, what about anything else?

A: I find by experience that the law of sowing and reaping are biblical, and when put into practice they work. Giving to Gods work is a condition of the heart, "For God loveth a cheerful giver." If a farmer says to himself, I am to poor, and seed is to expensive to buy. So I will wait and see if I get a crop anyway. Needless to say, he will be greatly disappointed for he will have no harvest because no seed was planted. That same law is valid in our giving and receiving also. You have to start somewhere. If you cannot tithe, plant what you can afford in faith; asking the Lord to increase your spiritual investment, and to increase your giving as God blesses your effort.

In Luke 21:2 Jesus saw a certain poor woman casting in thither two mites (not quite two cents), "And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow have cast more than they all: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury (poverty) hath cast in all The living that she had." She was planting a seed, however little into Gods offering, looking for a harvest. And yes, people have given offerings of food, fruits, oil, wine, grain, and fleece required as an offering. (Exodus 22:29) In the New Testament some even sold lands and property for distribution to those who were in need. (Acts 4:32-37). In the ministry sometimes we have abundance, and sometimes we lack. But to me it is part of our walk to experience both abundance and lack while remaining faithful unto the Lord, and he has always been faithful supplying our needs. Philippines 4:11

Q: We are under grace since Christ died for our sins. So why do I feel pastors stressing tithing issues for the church, or getting upset when not enough money is coming in? If we are no longer under the law, then shouldn't that include tithing? I'm not implying giving is wrong, but to expect 10% of a law instructed in the Old Testament leaves me conflicted.

A: Well, my first answer is this: Quit complaining. No one is forcing you to do something that you are trying to find an excuse not to do. Usually when I get these kind of questions it is from people that do not lift a finger to help support the church they attend. As you stated, giving is not wrong, in that you are right. Abraham paid tithes 500 years before the law of Moses, and Jacob paid
tithes 250 years before that. God provided a way that the church and ministry be taken care of, and that was by his people giving tithes and offerings which were used for his kingdom. God says in Malachi 3:8-9 that some were robbing the church, in that they were not helping the church in their withholding tithes and offerings which brought a curse unto them.

I agree that some spend to much time begging and not preaching, but lets use some common sense. Many churches have a building to pay for and maintain. And with that they have heating and cooling expenses, seating, insurance, phones, salaries, cleaning, replacing things that wear out, giving to missions, and other needs that come along with all that. If everyone uses rational thinking, how do you think any church could stay solvent? There are people in every church that do not support their own church financially, but praise God there are people who do support God's work, and these unsung heroes are a blessing, being faithful in every good work. If you feel you are under grace, don't give. It is as simple as that. By observation over the years I have found that some church people have all kinds of toys for their own pleasure, and the list is endless.

We have not given to God until we have given tithes and offerings. Read Hebrews 7; If we want to receive from God, we must first give to God. Many pastors have learned that when people
get offended some will purposely quit supporting the church; adding an extra burden on the preacher. Last but not least, if one gives ten percent, does that not leave ninety percent left? God did not say give ninety percent, only ten, now that's what I call a righteous God. Give, and it shall be given.

Q: The Lord commanded the Israelites to not make or worship any graven image from the earth or heaven (Deuteronomy) and later as the The Lord commanded the Israelites to not make or worship any graven image from the earth or heaven (Deuteronomy) and later as the The Lord commanded the Israelites to not make or worship any graven image from the earth or heaven (Deuteronomy) and later as the Israelites had been complaining, God sent serpents to bite them causing some to die or become ill. When Moses interceded on their behalf, he was told to make a gold serpen had been complaining, God sent serpents to bite them causing some to die or become ill. When Moses interceded on their behalf, he was told to make a gold serpent to put on a pole so those afflicted could look upon it and live after being bitten. I know there's some wisdom to be had here from what appears to be a contradiction to God's commandment. What are your thoughts as to why they were told to look upon this graven serpent?

A:  Thanks for your question. When we read scripture, sometimes things that we read and do not understand causes us to question the Lord and his Word. The answer is very forthright when we put things into the correct context. As the Lord sent judgement to the Israelites because of their sins, using serpents, symbolic of the devil and wickedness. The brazen serpent upon a pole was a future symbol of Jesus being lifted up on the cross defeating both the serpent (Satan), and paying in full the penalty for the sins of all mankind. John 3:14 bears this out, "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up." In other words look to the cross and be saved and healed. The problem here is evident, the symbol that God had intended quickly became an idol to the Israelites, so it was destroyed because it violated the second commandment. Today when we look at the cross, it is symbolic of what Jesus did for us and in no way is it ever used as a charm or idol to the mature believer.

Q: Concerning idolatry, we can argue that the Catholic is full of idols. From statues and pictures that portray various saints to mother Mary- Even Jesus. With all that said, can the Christian justify within their own congregations or homes having things as simple as pictures of a Jesus hung on their walls? Many may not worship the images, but Catholics don't bow themselves to every idol either- yet many are quick to call it idolatry. But if Jesus looked nothing like these pictures then what "Jesus" are we really allowing on our walls? Could it be some form of an idol that perhaps we overlook? Whether we worship the image or not?

A: Perhaps, we should first define idolatry. Idolatry is defined as image worship. And worship is defined as the act of bowing down to, paying homage to, the reverencing or adoration of a being or image. Therefore, in putting the two together, idolatry is the reverencing/adoration of an image/idol to the effect of paying homage to such. Thus there is no argument, for the mere fact is that Catholicism does indeed practice such, in bold contradiction to God’s Word.

As for the picture of Jesus issue, it is true that there are many religions, Catholicism being one of them, which do have pictures or icons hung in their homes or places of worship that are indeed reverenced. But I think that to those who are not of such religious persuasions, such as the average Christian or any person for that fact, a picture of Jesus hanging on the wall being comparable to idol worship would be a gross exaggeration. And as it is also true that none of us know exactly what Jesus looked like, to state that a picture of Jesus is idol worship is simply not true. People hang and decorate their walls with those things which they find interesting or give meaning to their lives, to instantly equate that to idolatry would be overstretching what God’s Word is stating. I hope this helps to answer your questions.

Q: How long should a Christian be "seasoned" before they start a ministry--or perhaps they were back sliders and not followed Gods instruction on how to be  reconciled with a brother if there are issues that do not please God. Should this person be preaching?

A: The Bible speaks plainly about ministry. The issue is not so much being seasoned, but is there a "calling" of God upon the individuals life? Is he well grounded in doctrine? Has he received the power of Gods Spirit with signs following? Does he submit to authority? And is he teachable? Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he falls into the condemnation of the devil. If God really calls one to ministry it will prove out over time.

Ministry takes a lot of discipline and a separation from many worldly pleasures that many fellow believers routinely  partake of on a regular basis. There are many many issues to deal with, also habits, temper, family, finances, persecutions, and many more issues that cannot be numbered. Lastly, ministry is not for those who love the limelight because if one is faithful, many will oppose the Gospel of Christ both by words and actions causing division among a congregation.
If they are continually backsliding, they should not seek the ministry until they have matured enough to live the gospel consistently. Above all, pray, pray, pray that with all the obstacles and problems involved in ministry, that you keep the love of Christ and the joy of the Lord. And that you finish the calling which He has given so you can say, I have fought a good fight and have kept the faith; that's what really matters.

Q: If a long time Christian has lost their compassion for others, could this be a red flag for a hardening heart?

A: According to the Bible, yes it is possible. "And because iniquity (sin and unrighteousness) shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." (Matthew 24:12, my parentheses) Real Christians put much time and effort in being good examples to the sinner. Exerting much time and love in winning the sinner to Christ, but unfortunately the majority of those ministered to refuse or rebel against the gospel message; continuing on the road to hell. Eventually the believer, after seeing the sinner many times coming in and out of church, but refusing to repent, can get discouraged and lose heart. When this happens the old "what's the use syndrome" comes into play, and the believer loses the compassion and love they had for their fellow man.
We must remember that whether people choose to believe or reject the gospel, Christ's love for them is still the same. Just as we had to make the decision to follow Christ or reject Him, so even do all men. We must understand that not all will choose to follow Christ, and although it will  dishearten us at times; that as long as we stay in Christ we will continue to love in word, and not in word only, but in deed, and truth. (1 John 3:18)

Q: Why I am I so angry? I do not even think I'm angry with anyone in particular, but I think I could be easily set off to complain or rant about someone or a situation if it hit me just right. I don't like this feeling. I know it's a feeling, but it feels too negative, and certainly not Christ-like.

A: Thanks for your question. As humans we are subject to emotions and feelings. In the Psalms we read of fears, questions, enemies, emotions, but always the Lord gives the victory. The Bible tells us to be angry, and sin not; so its evident that even Christians get angry.
One thing needs to be said though, if one is using drugs, whether legal or illegal, their personality and emotions may change. I knew of someone who was under a doctors care and was under a medication that made them feel extremely agitated and angry with severe mood swings, and even thoughts of suicide. When the prescription was changed, the anger went away.
Everyone will at times become angry, but we need to understand that it will last for a moment and be gone; at least until the next time. Even God himself is angry with the wicked everyday. (Psalms 7:11) However, if you are angry because you have a chip on your shoulder, the poor me syndrome, every body is picking on me, I have been slighted, misrepresented, cheated, or because life isn't fair we need to understand we can either choose to be angry or we can be like our Saviour and forgive.
Forgiving from the heart sets us free from the anger, and bitterness that trouble so many in our society today. Choose today not to be angry, but be thankful for the blessings you have. "In everything give thanks; for this the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18) Remember, you might have the right to be angry, but in the end if we allow anger to continue in us; we become rejected and bitter. Beware lest a root of bitterness rise in us, and we become defiled.

Q: If Angels are real, where are they? How come everyone doesn't see them?

A: First of all, I can absolutely guarantee you angels are real, and the reason I can do so is because the Word of God declares it to be so. As to where they are, and how come everyone doesn’t see them: To put it simply, angels are both here on the Earth and in the Heavens. God’s Word tells us that angels are ministering spirits, and as such they do both serve and attend to the will of the Father in the Heavens and on Earth; as well as to the children of men, some people even having entertained angels unaware. (Hebrew 1:14, 13:2) In this life not everyone will see angels, and even when some do, as I stated a moment ago, we are unaware that we are in their presence. Why? Only God knows, and as Paul put it, we look through a glass darkly, and we will not and do not know all those things that the Father has set to do. (1 Cor. 13:10)
I leave you this thought from John chapter twenty, Christ after having risen from the dead, appeared unto all the apostles, save for Thomas. And when they told Thomas that Jesus was alive and that they had seen Him, he doubted them. Later Christ appeared unto them again, this time Thomas was with them, and then only after having seeing Him did he believe. Christ then told the doubting Thomas, “Because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” You see it’s called faith. God’s Word tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God. It is the reason that so many in this day and age doubt His Word, they have not faith towards God. For it is only through faith in His Word and His promises that we truly begin to see that all that God has declared to be true and truth, has always been all along. (Hebrews 11)

Q: Without letting any roots of bitterness begin to grow, how do I handle myself when I feel someone has done wrong against me? And how do I address matters I feel are not being handled biblically, even if there's a godly excuse for it?

A: The simplest answer to your question would be that you forgive them and move on. A root of bitterness can only begin to grow when we harbor or hold ill feelings and un-forgiveness towards others. Forgiveness is key. Christ Himself told us that if we do not forgive men their trespass against us, then neither will He forgive us our trespasses. (Matthew 6:14-15) We have to understand that forgiveness is the act of letting go of that which we have a right to harbor.
As for the second part of your question, I am not sure what you mean; how do I address matters I feel are not being handled biblically, even if there’s a godly excuse for it? How can there be a godly excuse for that which is contrary to Him? If you are refereeing to a wrong that has been done, the Word of God does give us instructions on how to handle such issues. (Matthew 18:15-17) However, I feel that such can be avoided if we would merely begin with forgiveness. Hope this helps answer your question.

Q: Among the people, with everyone having their own perception of reality, what would the proper way to identify truth-Godly truth over our own thoughts on what's "true"? Is the answer as simple as through prayer and fasting? Do we just walk in faith that, if our hearts are desired to know, God will direct us into all truth? Can I pray to stop seeing my own perception/truth of things and to know Gods truth in all things?

A: If we measure our perception of truth against Gods truth, as presented in scripture, we will find a stark contrast between the two; especially between what people think is truth, as what they may perceive to be truth may not be truth at all when judged by Gods Word. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6) Real truth is found in the one who is the author of truth, Jesus Christ. "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." (John1:17) Therefore, for one to know truth one must know Christ, and one can only know Christ through His Word. Note 2 Cor. 13:5.

Q: Pastor John, you have stated in your end prayer one Sunday night that the people of God will be judged by all 66 books. Could you explain that a little further as it's causing some confusion in my family's bible discussions. Thank you.

A: We will be judged according to what is written in those 66 books. Revelation 20:12, "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened (the 66 books of the Bible): and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." (my parentheses) In other words, we will be judged according to God's Word; The Holy Bible, which is made up of 66 books.

Q: I am hearing alot about these fema camps and how obama is going to call out martial law to confiscate ppls. Guns in order to slaughter the american ppl. Where do we go to flee from this ,and what do we do to protect ourselves and our families? I know to consistently pray to god for his protection, and to stock pile food and water but where is one to avoid captivity?

A: Thanks for your inquiry. It appears that our country is headed down the road to a socialist government that will restrict the rights of every American citizen, even to the point of big government using force to quiet any one who dares resist it.
Jesus warned us of these days, as did the apostle Paul to Timothy saying, "That in the last days perilous times shall come." (2 Timothy 3:1) Those days are here. The government is working feverishly to disarm American citizens, to control the media, to weaken financial stability, and replacing military leaders who would defend the constitution and the citizens of the United States. Very shortly America will come under attack from those who have been allowed to cross our open borders  unobstructed, who then join the homegrown enemies of freedom to incite terror and chaos upon the citizens of the United States. Americas overthrow is the last hurdle the proponents of the New World Order need to put their plans into action, thus paving the way for the Antichrist.
The Bible teaches us that there have always been those that have been persecuted and who have even given their lives for Christ Jesus. Jesus said in Acts 1:8 that the believers would have Holy Ghost power, and would become witnesses (martyrs) for the Kingdom of God. It is possible that many may lose their lives in the days ahead for the cause of Christ, and the gospel. Jesus said not to fear those who kill the body, but rather fear him (God) which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) Men may kill the body, but only God has the power to destroy the soul of men. Jesus told us in Revelation 2:10, "Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life." We will do all we can to protect our families, as long as we can, but there will be causalities and defections; with our own family members and friends betraying us to death. (Luke 21:16) Some will go to prison. (Luke 21:12) All the things I have mentioned occur already to Christians throughout the world as we speak.
All these things will cause one of two things to happen, we will either commit their lives unto God, as unto a faithful creator, or for fear as seeing these things coming upon the earth, many will deny Jesus and walk away. Now is the time to really turn our hearts and lives unto Jesus Christ, as He alone is the one who can deliver us super naturally from any thing or any power that comes against us. Let us therefore be strong and do exploits, for our Lord soon comes to rule and reign; for all enemies will be put under His feet.
Faith overcomes fear. "Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out all fear: because fear has torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." (1 John 4:17-18) Let God arise and his enemies be scattered! We will and shall overcome.

Q: Do you honestly think that OBAMA could be that final ANTI-CHRIST that is predicted in the last day's? Because a lot of his behavior and the things he's doing makes me think that he is. What's your intake on this. Plus his feelings and actions against Israel is in question too.

A: While it is plainly evident that this president is plainly antichrist, as multitudes are today, I do not however believe that he is the Antichrist. I believe that he is Muslim, and that he is being used to undermine and bring down America to fulfill the New World Order agenda. I have taught for 40 plus years that the enemies of America know that they can not defeat our great country from without, until they weakened it from within, imploding it. And that is exactly what is taking place before our very eyes today; economically, financially, and militarily.
To better answer your question, I think the best way to approach this subject is to remember that there many who speculate and try to guess who the Antichrist is, but I don't believe we shall truly know until he, the Antichrist, stands before the World and proclaims that he is God; demands worship from all that dwell on the face of the earth. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 states; "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come (the "rapture" of the church), except there come a falling away first (leaving Christ and His Word), and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (The Antichrist); Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God (divine), or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."
It is evident that the President likes to think of himself as the great deliverer like Christ, but even with his eloquent speeches he is not a real world leader but a tool the enemy uses to further the end time agenda. If you wonder why these things are happening to America. Remember, for the Antichrist to reign he has to accomplish two things, destroy those who trust and believe in Christ Jesus, the only true saviour of man, and to try to undermine and destroy the nation of Israel.
America was the greatest Christian nation of the world, and Israel is Gods chosen covenant people. The plan of the enemies of God is simply; destroy Americas Christian influence, destroy the nation of Israel, and the New World Order shall have the supreme power that rules the World. And all those who refuse her rulership shall be eliminated. For a time it will appear that the Antichrist will have won in deceiving the earth as Revelation 13:7-8 states; "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the face of the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb (Jesus) slain from the foundation of the world."
Only the real followers of Christ will not, under any circumstances give allegiance to, or worship the antichrist. Who the Antichrist is is not as important as what he does. We will know him when he appears. Christian, be faithful, even unto death if necessary, and Jesus Christ will give you a crown of life that will not ever fade away.

Q: During the tribulation period is there going to be a rapture for those that believe in jesus, and await his return?

A: Thanks for your question. The answer is no. As the "rapture" does not occur until the sounding of the last trump; which is the seventh. This reference can be found in 1Corinthians 15:51-52 which states clearly that; "Behold, I show you a mystery, We shall not all sleep (die), but we all shall be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
There are many churches who falsely teach contrary to what Gods Word so plainly states, in that there will be a rapture before the tribulation period. No where in scripture can you find that the church will be taken out before the seventh trumpet. And some churches have taught that here are as many as three different raptures during the tribulation. If I may point out a quick point of thought, refer to  Revelation 16:15 and ask yourself this question; "If the church is gone from the earth, Why is Jesus still saying to the church, "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame?"
Read Luke 21 and see for yourself when Jesus comes again. It plainly shows us; for after all these events are fulfilled then He shall return for His bride. Q: Why does there seem to be so much "chaos" among many relationships these days?

A: Thanks for your question. I believe the answer to your question is based on two things; sin and the media culture. The Bible teaches us in 1 John 1:7 that, "If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin." As society moves further away from God, people become more wicked and self centered. They become users and abusers, and have few friends or solid relationships with anyone because of  self centeredness and attitude.
Secondly, the explosion of social media have compounded relationship issues.  Thanks to these social media outlets such as Twitter and Facebook, people feel they have the right to criticize, threaten, and bully; saying anything they feel as the deterrent of conversing face to face is removed. These social sites are used by many as a platform to spread discord, lies, threats, and all manner of evil. Friendships and relationships are damaged, sometimes beyond repair, by loose tongues, and those without discretion who feel the world should know their every  thought as they grind their axes.
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can and do hurt people and friendships. Jesus stated in Matthew 12:36-37, "That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." (my italics)
In closing, it is common that almost anywhere you go today, whether it be in a room full of strangers, friends, or even family members, there are those who do nothing but text, browse their social networks, browse the Internet, or play games while completely ignoring anyone, and everyone in the room. You see their relationship is not with flesh and blood, but an electronic gadget. The downside of this behavior is that people are losing interpersonal relationships which can lead to isolation, anti social behavior, and as your question implies "chaos" in relationships. "I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me." (Psalm 39:1) Good advice, don't you think?

Q: I heard something the other day that needs clarification please. I heard that the early church had elders in place instead of pastors and it was their responsibility to oversee that the church structure stayed in place etc., and allowed for the Holy Spirit to move freely. In today's church with one head leading and other offices as needed, doesn't this give the one "leading the flock" total authority over the move of the Holy Spirit? Isn't giving total church control over to one person a dangerous practice? It seems as if this is implying that the "leader" has more connections to God than anyone else. Please clarify the role of a "pastor" in churches today verses being ran by elders as in churches in biblical times. Thank you.

A: Thanks for your question. It is evident that the Bible uses different names, Elders, Bishops, Pastors, etc., who God called and did the exact same things as the shepherds (Pastors), do today. Their job was to watch over, and tend the flock; doing the same things that the Pastor would do, each assisting one another in ministry. Their calling and qualifications were the same, elders and bishops acting as pastors, (shepherds) to protect the Doctrine of  Jesus Christ, holiness, the teaching and instruction of the Word to the early church. These offices were for the local congregations.
The common error with modern denominations is they teach that these offices are each distinctly different, which they are not. Bishop is a Greek word meaning, overseer, and presbyter is another Greek word meaning elder. Special qualifications are required of one who desires the office of a Bishop, but these same qualifications are also required for Pastors and Elders to, but not preachers (evangelist), one who travels from place to place preaching the gospel. Of course each of the above office have great responsibility that comes along with them, and with the calling comes the power and authority to fulfill the calling. Any Pastor that read your comment would immediately tell you that he does not have authority over the Holy Ghost, his calling is to try and make sure that services stay in order. Let me be very plain, Pastors, Elders, and Bishops each have certain  qualifications that some in the congregation do not have or there would be no need for the office in the first place.
My experience is that most churches have these offices in place, depending on the size of the congregations. Larger churches need to have more helpers than a smaller church body does. As the body grows God adds those who are qualified to lead. Most Pastors will tell you their problem is not offices, but qualified people to fill those offices. Many pastors have a serious problem even finding those in churches that even want to take on any responsibility to lead Bible studies, or getting them to a prayer meeting is like pulling teeth. The real problem is this, even though we have shown that all of these above offices are the same, there are those who do not like the authority of any Elder, Bishop, or Pastor, even though they show the qualifications of their callings. Many Pastors have those who are spiritual in the body to help and advise him, even though they might not have a title. Is it dangerous to have one leader in a body, it could be if the congregation is not checking out the the doctrine being preached or aware of the lifestyle of their Elders, Bishops, and Pastors. It is the churches responsibility to be fruit inspectors.
Lastly, from experience I know that there are always those in the body of Christ that resent authority in any way, shape or form while they work among the saints, spreading discord among the brethren. Paul put it this way, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (2 Timothy 4:3-4) If your Pastor is leading the flock in truth, support him. If not, find another church.

Q: Can you explain fasting? I have heard people say they fasted for certain things, what exactly does that mean? Do you pray before you fast? I just don't understand fasting at all.

A: What is fasting? The simple dictionary definition is: to abstain from food. I have often defined fasting as bringing one’s flesh under subjection. Many religions of the world fast, but why? For power. Fasting is a spiritual exercise; one does in order to “put down” the flesh that their spirits may commune more freely with the spiritual realm. For Christians it is the same, however, we seek to commune with almighty God; seeking His will with prayer and supplication through the power of His Spirit. So, although one may fast for a myriad of reasons; they are ultimately seeking God.
A Biblical fast is to abstain from all food, with the exception of water, for a period of time; whether skipping one meal or going several days. As the point of fasting is to seek God, prayer and reading of His Word is a part of fasting; usually one would do this during the time when they would normally be eating, so instead of feeding the flesh one feeds their spirit. I hope this explanation is helpful in answering some of the questions you may have.

Q: Why did God answer 1 King 18:36-39 differently from 1 King 19:9-13?

A: In 1 kings 18:36-39 Elijah confronted the 450 prophets of the false god Baal, Elijah was the only one who remained a prophet of the Lord, as Jezebel had killed most of Gods prophets. (1 Kings 18:22) Elijah offered a sacrifice to the Lord and the Lord answered wonderfully by fire. Elijah then had the 450 false prophets of Jezebel slain. God proved that He is God by answering Elijah's prayer by fire; the fire of God devouring Elijah`s sacrifice.
In 1 Kings 19:9-13 we find that after Elijah`s victory over the false prophets of Jezebel, she puts a death sentence on Elijah`s head, and he flees for his life in a cave. The Lord ask him why he had fled into the depths of the cave; Elijah told the Lord that he was the only prophet left, and the nation had deserted God, thrown down the His altars, slain His prophets with the sword, and again told Him that he was the only prophet of God left on the earth.
The Lord in both instances answered Elijah supernaturally. God reassured Elijah that there were 7000 men that had not bowed their knee in worship to Baal. Elijah was comforted, and left the cave to meet Elisha, his successor. When and how God answers in different situations is in God`s infinite wisdom, we just need to trust that God knows how to take care of us in any problem we find ourselves. When and how He chooses to answer prayer depends on the situation, such as in the above question. We just need to understand even though Elijah thought all was lost; he found out that God knew what was going on, and that God was in control. In retrospect, God responded to both situations equally with a supernatural response.

Q: How does one whose walk has stopped get back to where he/she was before with the Lord? Can't seem to find that part of myself that I once had that made wanting to live for God to the best I could my first priority.

A: Thanks for your question. First of all, it is extremely difficult to maintain ones walk with Jesus Christ unless the believer is totality committed to Christ and the Word of God. The Bible says that they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections (passions) and lusts thereof. (Galatians 5:24) When a believer is sold out to Christ, no matter what comes against them, whether in joy or sorrow, they will remain faithful, steadfast, and committed to the author and finisher of their faith, Jesus Christ.
Many start out with Christ, and you would think that by their words they would never grow cold or abandon their faith, but when trials come they are overcome. It is extremely important that we understand that our faith is and will be continually tested not only by the Lord, but by the world and the tempter to see what we will do when we are tried. I have found from personal experience that it is much easier to talk the walk then to walk the walk. Jesus warned that in these last days that many would leave the faith, and that, "Except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect`s sake (those chosen of God) those days shall be shortened. (Matthew 24:22) Doesn't sound like a cake walk does it?
However, Jesus can and will help us regain the ground we lose when we miss the mark. For we can say and seemingly do all the right things, and we can get so busy we forget our first love, which is Jesus. Revelation 2:4 says, "Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because Thou hast left thy first love." When we are in that position, the only thing we can do is go back to Christ and ask forgiveness, and enter the race anew. Fellowship with spiritual believers, those who have the Word of God written in their hearts, and their lives show witness of that truth. Avoid carnal believers as they will cause your desire in Christ to wane because of their worldly talking and manner of living. If you are backslidden, the Bible states that, "The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways."  (Proverbs 14:14) And you will notice here, that the heart has changed from Christ Jesus towards the old ways, and the former lifestyle again takes over. Therefore, if we must forsake are old manner of living, and embrace Christ fully least we find are selevs drawn back to the old life.
In closing, remember Christ Jesus loves and will help you, if you cast yourself on His great mercy. Now is not the time to forsake Him, for He alone is the giver of eternal life to all who will come to Him; so come. "And the Spirit (The Holy Ghost) and the bride (The True Believers) say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." (Revelation 22:17) Time is short, return unto the Lord and He will return unto you.

Q: I was reading the bible this morning, and I was thinking about Luke 13:10-13.  Now Jesus simply commanded the spirit to come out of the woman. Why is it that when we pray for someone, we lay hands on them and go on and on sometimes asking God to have mercy on this person etc., when all the healings and deliverance's in the bible simply spoke the word and it was done. Don't you think we could save a whole lot of time and drama if we just simply anointed with oil, placed our hands on the person and said in Jesus name, arise and walk (just an example)?  And then the person getting prayed for could arise and walk so to speak. I think that just speaking in authority like that as they did in biblical examples would speak volumes in the hearer because the much praying would seem like begging God and put the person getting prayed for in a position of thinking their healing was conditional instead of being "it is done". What do you think?

A: If you read carefully in verse 13 states, "And he (Jesus) laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God." Thus we follow accordingly, Mark 16:18, "They shall lay hands on the sick; and they shall recover." Also per James 5:14-15,"Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."  And if we read carefully, there are many instances where evil spirits did not merely come out of individual without making a scene or contending with Christ (Matthew 8:28-34; Mark 1:23-26; Mark 3:11-12; Mark 9:17-29;  ), and even an instances where he prayed more then once for someone before they where made whole. (Mark 8:22-25)
As for simply speaking without all the "contending," it does, has, and continues to happen today. But you also have to understand that we are not Christ; in that we do not always know what is at work in an individuals life, whereas Christ knew exactly the who, what, and where of an issue. Therefore, we simply trust God, and are obedient to His Word when anyone asks of us. Unbelief also plays a roll when it comes to healing, deliverance, and salvation. (Matthew 13:58) As for  the conditional issue, I believe that many of God's promises have "conditions" or requirements. Examples: Salvation, One must repent, and submit to God's authority in order to receive salvation, and continue in such to obtain life eternal. Healing, John 5 describes the instance of the man who had an infirmity, and, "Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked." (John 5:8-9) And then a few verse down we find that later, "Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." (John 5:14) Deliverance, Scripture makes it very clear that if we do not walk accordingly once delivered we can end up in a worse state then we where before if we are not careful. (Matthew 12, specifically verses 43-45) Hope this helps.

Q: How can you be certain this is the right religion? Weren't their prior religions then what is written in the Bible?

A: The Bible states that in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1:1) All religions, the worshipping of idols, animals, mother earth, female and male god figures, and anything else that is called a religion came into
being when man turned his back on the God of creation, and fashioned a religion after his own will and desires. God has given man a wonderful opportunity to receive restoration, and forgiveness through His only begotten son, Jesus Christ; exclusively. Acts chapter four verse twelve states plainly that, "Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
All man made religion demands it`s followers to earn their salvation by doing some kind of work, penance, mutilation of the body, and etc. Such as in Islam; where one must pray five times a day, and pray in a certain direction. Some men have made the Sabbath their requirement for Salvation. Others follow a man pretending to be the vicar (one who stands in the place of Christ); all these religions will be destroyed at the great white throne judgement. Revelation 20:12, "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened, (the bible) and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works" (either for or against God).
How do I know that this is the right religion? It is very simple, Mark chapter two tells us that there was a man that was paralyzed, and his friends brought him to Jesus. Jesus healed the man, and made this statement to those who were in the midst, "That ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, ( He saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house." And guess what, the man did exactly that!  We Have witnessed the dead raised in Jesus name, many healed of all kinds of diseases and afflictions, and lives completely changed by His love, and power.
By Gods grace are you saved, there is nothing you can do to earn it. Religion today is based on the works and doctrines of men. Jesus said, "For without me, ye can do NOTHING! (relating to the miracle working power Of God that works in true believers.) Mark 16:20 states, "And they (the real believers) went forth, and preached everywhere, The Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen." How many religions can make that statement today? Even churches that profess to follow Christ and His Word, deny the very Christ of the Bible, and have created their own Jesus; after the traditions of men as Jesus said they  would. (2 Corinthians 10:2-4)
In conclusion, The kingdom of God is not in word only, but in power. (1Corinthians 4:20) Any, and all religions that have not salvation exclusively through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Gods only Son, are false, and those who follow these religions will be destroyed from among the people. (Acts 3:19-23)

Q: Meditate on Matthew 5:27-48 what did Jesus were the position of the people on these issues?

A: Thanks for your question. The position or response of the people were the same as today with all scripture. Some believed and some didn't. Some were saved, others were not. Some accepted the teachings of the doctrine of Christ, some did not. Some were healed, and others were not. Some received the Holy Ghost, others refused. The real question is: what is our response to the gospel? Acts 28:24 states, "And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not." So, its not how others perceive scripture; it is whether they themselves seek to obey it.
You see, Matthew 5:1-27 is just as pertinent as Matthew 5:27-48. How about verse 20? Jesus said Very plainly, "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom." Whether men receive it or not, Jesus meant what He said, and said what He meant. It is up to the individual believer to search the scriptures to see if he be in the faith, and to strive to enter by the straight gate, for I say unto you, many shall try and will not be able. (Revelation 22:18-19)

Q: In the New Testament, John 15:12-13. Jesus gave a new commandment,*Love one another as I have loved you* and *there is no greater love than to lay down ones life for ones friends*. 1st Corinthians 13 all of it! And of course John 3:16. There is only one way to the Father and that is through Christ Jesus. Jesus was without sin. I see know where in the Word where Jesus harmed anyone in any way. Is this not how we are to love one another? Please keep in mind that I am aware that we are all sinners born into iniquity, that Gods mercies and grace are renewed daily. If Gods commandments were given to show us our sins, is not His mercies and grace given to show us that we do not have to live in those sins??

A: Thanks for your comment. It is most certainly true that the mercies and grace given us through Christ Jesus demonstrates to us that we do not have to live in sin any longer. (Romans 6:11-14 ) When it comes to Jesus never harming anyone, the Pharisees and Sadducees might beg to differ with you. Not only did Jesus show disdain for both, along with the scribes, He soundly withstood them, and their hypocrisy. They were very much offended by Him and sought to kill Him. The same thing would happen today if Jesus would tell the main line religions that, "Publicans and harlots would enter the Kingdom of Heaven before them" The religionists of today are as wicked as they were then. The true gospel of the kingdom of God is ignored so they can deceive men through their traditions, and teachings of unconverted leaders. Christians know Jesus never harmed any one, but also realize that He was hated, despised, and rejected of men. (Isaiah 53: 2-3) When a Christian stands against the world He will find himself in direct conflict with the sinner, and many in diverse religions. They will deny the validity of the Bible, and therefore attack the messenger. The modern love gospel says that believers should roll over and play dead ignoring sin and righteousness because we must at all cost never offend anyone if we love them. This is false doctrine and will damn the souls of those who embrace it. (1 Timothy 4:1-2)

Q: A woman prays to God to be married to a specific man, and God answers that prayer. They are married. Another woman prays simply for a husband who needs help and says that God has answered her prayers by delivering to her,the same man He delivered to the first woman of prayer. Who is listening to the Spirit of Truth and who is listening to the spirit of deception?

A: Trying to answer a question by conjecture is always difficult as the Pharisees and Sadducees were always trying to catch Jesus in his talk. You said that the first woman's prayer was answered by God Himself, so according to your above
statement she was listening to the spirit of truth. Now for the curve ball. The second woman prayed for the same man whom she felt needed help, and felt God sent him to her. Did the first woman die leaving the widowed husband grieving and in need of help? If so, she also was listening to the spirit of truth (your terminology). Now, on the other hand if the husband left his first wife to move in with the second woman; she was being deceived. Sinners and the unconverted pray prayers all the time, and will swear that God Himself answered them. If that is true He just had mercy on them because the Word of God plainly says, "Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth." (John 9: 31) Apparently there many who listen to a spirit of deception.

Q: I was wondering if you could give me some examples of what Jesus talks about in Matt. 24:15, the abomination that causes desolation. Thank You and God Bless.

A: In Matthew 24:15 Jesus is referring to the last days when the antichrist enters the temple in Jerusalem, and proclaims that he is God. Paul wrote about this abomination in 2 Thessalonians 2 concerning those who were teaching that Jesus was coming at any time; this false doctrine, pre-tribulation, is still propagated today by almost all major denominations. And as there were false teachers who were forging letters and signing Paul's signature to them; Paul addressed such issues. For Paul plainly states in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 that the coming of Christ would not take place until there first come a great falling away, of believers from the faith, and then that the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who standing in the temple at Jerusalem shall proclaiming that he is God. This scripture is conveniently disregarded by most churches in our day because they cannot justify the pre-tribulation rapture with the scriptures; so they choose to ignore the truth.
It should be noted that in order for the antichrist to take his position, there first will be a falling away from the truth of the gospel; thereby providing a way for the man of sin to deceive the masses, both religious and the non-religious. (2 Thess. 2:9-12) Today we see that many are already deceived; for example: Churches of various denominations allowing homosexuals to desecrate pulpits across the land, foolish churches propagating chrislam with the joint worship services between so called Christians and Muslims thereby breaking the first commandment: Thou shall have no other Gods before Me. (Exodus 20:1)
The days that we are entering into will be tremendously difficult for real believers as the false prophets continue to propagate false teachings, and that there are other ways to enter heaven other than the Lord Jesus. (Acts 4:12) I hope this helps answer your question. Remember, Jesus warned us also about these days. (Matthew 24, Luke 21, Mark 13)

Q: IF GOD CALLS ON YOU TO SACRIFICE YOUR LIFE FOR YOUR FAITH, WOULD YOU HEED HIS CALL? WHY?

A: Thanks for your question. Certainly, if the Lord calls on the believer to give his life for the name of Jesus, there is Biblical references showing that there were many who were tortured, mocked, beaten, put in bonds, and imprisoned for their faith. Moreover they were stoned, sawn in two, tempted, killed by the sword, wandered in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, and tormented. (Hebrews 11:35-39) Jesus even told Peter that he would die by martyrdom. (John 21:18-19) And there are countless numbers of Christians being murdered in this generation for their faith by wicked men.
Every believer should recognize that just because we live in America we are not exempt from suffering anymore than our brothers and sisters around the world. Jesus said that in these last days that there would be those who would kill believing themselves to be doing God a service; radical Muslims believe this. Real Christians are not to be anxious to be a martyrs, knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord Jesus. Personally, I have been mocked, threatened, and cursed enough that it doesn't move me; for I know that unless the Lord Jesus allows it, no-one, and I do mean no-one is able to do anything unless it is allowed by God Himself. And in any event Jesus said that we are not to fear those who can kill the body, for after that there is nothing more they can do. Therefore, if the Lord chooses that I glorify God by being killed for my faith, so be it; it comes with the territory.
However, God's people are not without power against the wiles of the devil, and evil men. For when the king sent soldiers to take Elijah the prophet by force in 2 Kings 1:9-15, Elijah called down fire from heaven on two groups of fifty soldiers. And when the next fifty came they had a tremendous attitude change and begged for their lives; for which the Lord spared them. For if all the nations of the world are to God a drop in a bucket; why then should we fear what mere Men can do? In Revelation 6:9-11, John saw the souls of them which were slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held. And they cried to God and said, "How long before you judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? The Lord told them to rest for a little season longer until their fellow servants and brethren should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. The antichrist will use force to take away many before Jesus returns, but his reign shall be short and those who follow him shall suffer a terrible fate when God completes his wrath upon all that hate Him and reject Jesus Christ His son, sent to redeem all those who live for Him, or die for their faith in Him. Acts 3:23 declares, "And it shall come to pass, that every soul (person) which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from the people." For in the end, weather in life or in death, they that are His become victorious.

Q: Who is the anti Christ? When is the mark of the beast happening? Are you a prophet? Can you also predict when the world is gonna end? This month a preacher went humiliated when he realized that preaching on faith and common sense wasn't the answer to anything. I think he was another man that changes the word around to benefit himself and his own image. No one knows the time nor hour. I hardly think preachers are prophets. What's you're opinion on that?

A: Thanks for your question. First of all, no, I am not a prophet, but I do minister Gods Word which has many prophecies concerning things to come. (Revelation 22:19) The Bible does say, even though you misquoted the scripture stating "no one knows the time nor hour," the correct wording is day and hour; which only God will determine. (Matthew 24:36) Jesus gave us many prophecies concerning the end of days, and one would have to be blind not to realize that something is going on in this sinful world right now. And because of men's wickedness God shall judge, first the Church, then the world. (1 Peter 4:6-7; 17-18) Make no mistake about it, the wicked of earth will not escape that which the Word of God said would come to pass. (Ecclesiastes 8:11-12)
The Bible tells exactly when the antichrist comes to power in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, whoso readeth let him understand! And concerning the preacher that said the world was going to end this May, he has a history of giving false prophecies. The real issue is that he has a multi-million dollar enterprise that people continue to support. All sinners whether religious or not will continue to justify their lifestyles, and continue to attack the Bible, the Son of God: Jesus Christ, and even God Himself. There are a lot of little men with big chips on their shoulders who God shall laugh when their calamity comes, and they will not escape. (Psalms 2:1-5)
Lastly, are there prophets today? Certainly, you will find them mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:28, although not all are prophets, God has set them in the  church for warning, comfort, and edification for all Saints. My advice to you is that no matter what your opinions are concerning these things, all will stand at the Judgement Seat of Christ, and will give full account of themselves before God. All of men's gripes, and issues will have no bearing there. For they all shall be judged according to God's Holy Word; weather or not they choose to believe in faithful obedience to His Word. (Revelation 20:12) Men can and will say and do as they please, not knowing that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry God; for in the end God will have the last word, and His word is final. (Hebrews 10:26-31) Let all who read this take warning, and repent while you still may. (Acts 7:51-53)

Q: I was wondering if you could tell me what  main books of the bible talk about end time prophecies? Thank You and God Bless. I was wondering if you could tell me what  main books of the bible talk about end time prophecies? Thank You and God Bless.

A: There are many prophecies concerning the end of days. Jesus gave us accurate end times prophecy in Matthew 24:3-36, Mark 13:1-23, Luke 21:8-31, Daniel 12:1-13, Joel 2:1-13, Isaiah 65:17, Rev.21:1, and Acts 3;19-23.
There are signs that today the whole world seems to unraveling. The economy, diseases, earthquakes, floods, super storms, and nations in distress are increasing in intensity and leaving total destruction behind. It would behoove us as Christians to be watchful, and in prayer that we may be kept by God in these days.
There are so many verses in the Old Testament and the New Testament concerning the end of times that everything cannot be put in this posting.
Personally, I like the prophecies Jesus gave on the end of days as He tells us what signs to look for, and was very clear that we will experience much trouble and sorrow in these days. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-17 gives us what is to happen concerning the time of the second coming of Jesus (verses 1-2), and also shows when the antichrist will come to power (verses 3-4). For you see, no man knows the day or the hour when Jesus returns, but the Lord gives us prophecy on what is going to transpire before He comes again. In closing, the whole Bible is a book of prophesy; meaning it tells us of things to come in the future. Prophecy in the original means: telling before averment or before it happens. God has left nothing to chance concerning His children. Therefore, we can rest at ease knowing He will watch and care for his children; everything is under His control. When we see these things coming to pass, lift up your heads for our redemption is at hand. Praise God, He reigns!!! Thanks for your submission.

Q: I am a married man. My wife died 8 years ago. So I remarried eventually, but I am told because the wife was divorced, that we both are in sin. I read on it and its true. If a man married a divorced woman. Then it is adultery. Now what do I do?

A: Hello, and thanks for your question. I will respond with the supposition that you are already a believer in Christ Jesus. Again, most churches teach that our Lord will forgive any and all sin, and transgression; all but DIVORCE. Either God is able to forgive all our sins or the cross of Christ was not all sufficient to save to the uttermost. The good news is that not only is Jesus able to forgive, but He is also able to restore those who come to Him in true repentance, and faith. (1 John 1:9)
What is happening today is that people are preaching one thing, but doing another. Lets take a look at Romans 7:1-6, here is a perfect example in regards to your question. To begin, Paul states to the reader how that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives. Giving the example of how a woman who has a husband who is living is bound by the law as long as he is living. And that by the law, if while her husband is living she remarries, she shall be called an adulteress, but if her husband be dead, she is set free from the law, so then she is not an adulteress though she be married to another man. Now, Paul reveals to us that we are likewise dead to the law by the body of Christ (by His death on the tree). In other words Jesus has delivered us from the law of sin and death, wherein we were held; that we should now serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. In the Greek rendering of the word delivered means: concerning the law; to make useless, without effect.
Please let me emphasize this point: divorce is not the ideal perfect will of God, but it is a reality and we need to understand that if we ask anything according His will; He hears us. However, we need to understand that although Christ has set us free from the penalty of the law; it never gives a believer the right to continue in sin, committing the same sins over and over again. (Romans 6:1-2)
Therewith, my council is this: continue loving your wife, and together receive the forgiveness of Christ. And continue serving Him in all sincerity and truth. Always remember, "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." (Romans 8:2)  Praise God for His mercy and continue to live for Him.

Q: In the bible it says that it is a sin to defile the temple of God. But I know Christians who have their ears pierced. If I'm correct, I don't think it's a sin to have your ears pierced, if you aren't doing it for worldly reasons. If I am correct, what if you have ONE tattoo? What if you aren't doing it for worldly reasons, you just want one? Is that a sin?

A: Hi, thanks for your question. I guess your answer would be; If you aren't getting a tattoo for worldly reasons, whether one or twenty, why are you getting one? The only reason that I can think of is that is what worldly people do. There is another
tattoo which the Bible speaks of. This is called the mark of the beast. (Revelation 13:16) The real children of God will not take that either. Oh, by the way, God in the book of Leviticus 19:28 states, "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for
the dead, (as the heathens did) nor print any marks upon you; (tattoos) I am the Lord."
That pretty much sums it up, the only reason that people do the things you mentioned in your above question, is because that's what the worldly do! Is pierced ears and tattoos a sin? Here's some good advice, if you are are in doubt; DON`T!!

Q: If you are saved and you have children, I know the children are sanctified by the believing parent, if you are married and your spouse is not saved, is he sanctified as well, and if so, what happens if the saved person dies and the spouse and children are not saved yet, are they still sanctified?

A: Thanks for your question.
It is evident that what Paul is saying is that one saved spouse sanctifies the unsaved spouse. What this means is that if the unsaved Spouse chooses to continue in marriage with the saved spouse they are put in a special place of exposure to the faith of the saved spouse, and the influence of the Holy Ghost; hopefully bringing the unsaved spouse into the saving grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 7:12-16 )
It is extremely important that the saved spouse is diligent in following the Lord in holy living that the other spouse may see that the saved spouse has a true conversion. Of course, if and when a saved spouse goes home to be with the Lord
that influence is removed. Hopefully, the unsaved loved one will have been so influenced by the departed saved spouse becoming a new creature in Christ that they themselves will have the desire to live for Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
We must also remember that the Lord desires that men repent; as it is not His desire that anyone perish. He also knows that the saved also desire that men repent, and whether we are living or gone to glory we know that He will continue dealing with our unsaved loved ones to reveal Himself to them.

Blessings,
Pastor John

Q: I received a newsletter from a very respected pastor and it was about God's love. It seems like lately I am hearing more and more about the love and goodness of God so much so that it's almost "gushy." I know God loves us, obviously, but when I study the Word I do not see where the Disciples were carrying the message of God in a mushy love story like I hear being preached today and it makes me sick! I think that this mushy love stuff can make the Believer start to feel entitled to the promises of God and make repenting harder. Am I off base? Should I embrace this love stuff with a more open mind? I just personally react in a more real way to God and His holiness by hearing about things that will tear my heart in two. Your thoughts please, thank you so much!

A: This Love Gospel of which you speak has been slowly seeping into the Church for years, and has now become a popular doctrine and way of thinking both by those within and without the Church. This Love Gospel teaches that God is love, that He loves everyone just the way they are, that He doesn’t judge or condemn people, but loves people and isn’t concerned with narrow-minded issues of varying Biblical theology that others put importance on. Therefore, we also, as Christians, should conduct ourselves in like manner.
The issue with such teachings is that this doctrine is gift wrapped in some truth, but within it’s full of error and lies which will lead multitudes to Hell. The truth is that indeed God is love. It was that love that sent His Son to this Earth, and saw Him crucified on the cross. It was that love in which He poured out upon humanity grace, mercy, and His tremendous longsuffering. It was through that love in which He sent mankind, both in Old Testament time and now in the New Testament time, men who were willing to put their lives on the line to warn men to repent of their wicked ways; pointing them to the ultimate sacrifice of love: Christ Jesus. (2 Peter 3:16)
However, what the Love Gospel ignores is that God is also a holy and righteous judge. And that all mankind is conceived in iniquity, and it is because of that iniquity that Almighty God sent His Son to become that sacrificial lamb in whom mankind could be redeemed. Therefore, it is only those who repent of their sins, and are obedient to His Word who become benefactors’ of His love. All others who reject His Word, spurning His love, and cling to their sins will come under His judgment. The Love Gospel ignores these basic Biblical doctrines stating that God loves everyone and does not condemn or judge anyone. (Romans 5:12; John 3:3; John 3:15-16; James 1:22; Romans 1:21-32; 2 Peter 2; Jude)
I have seen and heard this misleading and skewed Love Gospel used to justify individuals living in sin, and therein have the audacity to call themselves Christians. And I have been hearing and seeing this teaching used prevalently among homosexuals. Believing themselves to be born or genetically created this way; which is a lie straight from the pits of Hell. Yes, God loves the homosexual, but He hates the sin. And as with all sin God demands repentance. I myself fully know, and have partaken of this truth. (2 Timothy 2:19; Romans 1:17-32; Acts 17:30; 2 Thess. 2:10-12)
I am fully aware of the repercussions of such a statement, but none the less I know God’s Word to be without contestation, and inherently true. Which is why it is important to know what God’s Word states; that we may be able to withstand the fiery darts of this wicked, perverse, and backslidden church age in which we now live. Therefore, when such teachings as this Love Gospel come along we will know them for what they are: misleading, and false. For as you rightly stated such false teachings can provide a feeling of entitlement to God’s promises, and a state in which man feels and desires no need for repentance. (Proverbs 14:12; 2 Cor. 13:5; 2 Thess. 2:10-12)
So do I believe you’re off base? Well, according to God’s Holy Word, you’re right on target. Keep yourself in His Word, and you’ll never go wrong. Hope this helps. (2 Cor. 13:5; 2 Timothy 2:15)

“Open rebuke is better than secret love.”  ~ Proverbs 27:5

“When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, when a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul”  ~ Ezekiel 3:18-21

Q: I can't stop wondering why Elijah splayed the prophets of Baal after they turned back to God. I'm assuming he was led of the Lord to do it and maybe the Lord did it himself or helped him b/c I couldn't imagine 1 man killing 450 people and not one of them running away. Maybe it was God's mercy, if they truly repented, maybe it was God's wrath, It just confuses me that a profit of God could kill 450 people and not be condemned. But, it may just be one of those things that I have to ponder until I have a chance to ask the author in person ; )

A: We need to remember that the prophets of Baal were terribly wicked, even to the point of offering human sacrifices to their false God. God hates wickedness, especially when men use false religions to promote their sins.
Israel had forgotten The first commandment. (Exodus 20:1) Elijah did not execute the false prophets himself, but did command them to be killed, at Gods direction, to cleanse the land from this evil religion. These 850 false prophets did not turn to God in repentance; the backslidden children of Israel  did. (1 Kings 18:36-39) Remember when the Prophet Samuel told King Saul to kill King Agag, and to wipe out the whole city including the Livestock, again with the intent to cleanse the land, Saul disobeyed. And that caused trouble for Israel for years because of Saul's disobedience to God. (1 Samuel 15)
I think that God, even today, would be more than justified to have all the radical Muslim leaders judged even as He judged the prophets of Baal. These people are evil and seek to kill anyone who they cannot force into their religion, even for burning a copy of the Koran that promotes their false religion. Would to God He would cleanse the earth of all religions created by Satan. And He shall do exactly that when He returns the second time. We need to remember all false religions lead the children of men to eternal damnation, and many shall perish during the judgements of God during the tribulation of the last days. Then as now, men will refuse salvation through Jesus Christ, and will choose death through the wrath of God. (Revelation 16:1-11)
